Granovita withdraws mushroom pateole yeast spread – Monday 13 February 2012
Granovita is withdrawing one batch of its Mushroom Pateole Yeast Spread. The product contains levels of gluten that are above the limits allowed for foods to be labelled gluten-free. If you’re intolerant to gluten, don’t eat this product. The Agency has issued an Allergy Alert.
The product being withdrawn is:
Granovita Mushroom Pateole Yeast Spread, labelled as gluten-free
Best before: 21 April 2012
Granovita is withdrawing the affected yeast spread, and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members. Customer notices will be put on the company’s website, explaining why the product is being withdrawn.
No other Granovita products are known to be affected.
